The service
These Terms cover your use of DitherBox at ditherbox.xyz. By creating an account or using the studio, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. DitherBox provides tools for dithering images, GIFs, and video in your browser.
Accounts
Provide accurate account information, keep your password private, and tell us if you think someone has accessed your account without permission. New accounts start on the Free plan. You can sign out from the studio. To request account closure, contact support@ditherbox.xyz. Email verification and self-service password recovery are not available yet; keep access to your password.
Your content
You retain rights to media you import and work you export. You are responsible for having the rights needed to use that media. DitherBox processes media in your browser; it is not uploaded to our server as part of editing or export. Local projects remain on your device. If you save an account preset, you allow DitherBox to store and use its name and settings to provide preset sync.
Plans and payments
Features differ by plan and may have file, resolution, duration, or export limits shown in the studio and on the pricing page. Paid subscriptions are available only when a checkout option is shown in your account. Creating a Free account does not create a payment obligation. Before a paid subscription begins, Stripe checkout shows the final recurring price and billing terms. You can manage or cancel an active subscription through the billing portal in your account.
Acceptable use
Do not use DitherBox to break the law, infringe others' rights, attack the service, bypass plan controls, or interfere with other users. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably needed to address abuse, security issues, or legal requirements.
Availability and responsibility
The service may change or be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, security, or technical reasons. Keep your own copies of important source media, exports, presets, and project files. Local browser data can be lost if you clear storage or change devices. To the extent allowed by law, DitherBox is provided without a promise of uninterrupted availability or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as DitherBox changes. We will post the revised Terms and effective date here; material changes affecting existing users will be communicated through the service before they take effect when practical. If you have a question, contact support@ditherbox.xyz.
